SalmonSashimiDon

This is our sushi craving day meal for all of us!

材料

  1. sashimi grade salmon (sliced or cut into cubes) 7 oz
  2. ripe avocado (sliced or cut into cubes) 1 (optional)
  3. ikura (salmon roe) as a topping (optional)
  4. Japanese cooked short grain rice 2 servings
  5. for the sauce:
  6. shiro (white) soy sauce 2 tablespoons
  7. tamari soy sauce 1 tablespoon
  8. mirin 2 tablespoons
  9. sake 1 tablespoon
  10. toasted sesame oil to taste (optional)

    Add sake/mirin in a microwave safe small glass container.

    Nuke it (no cover) for 45 seconds at 600w.

    Remove from the microwave. Leave it until it’s room temp.

    Stir in shiro and tamari soy sauce and mix well. Set aside.

    Prepare your salmon by your favorite way of cutting.

    Serve cooked rice in a rice bowl. Let it cool slightly.

    Place salmon/ avocado over the rice.

    or, scatter the salmon, avocado over the rice.

    Place the ikura on top.

    Drizzle sauce mix over the topping. Serve.

    so keep it in an airtight container for up to 3-5 days.

コツ・ポイント

Use shiro soy sauce to add an overpowering flavor. Add tamari to add some umami.
