Lime vinaigrette goes well with cilantro slaw!

I make coleslaw as a side/topping for sandwiches. This recipe also works both ways, and adds a refreshing aftertaste!

材料

  1. green cabbage (thinly sliced) 1/2 small (4-5 cups)
  2. carrot (peeled and shredded) 1 medium (1/2 cup)
  3. cilantro (roughly chopped) 1 cup
  4. shallot (thinly sliced) 1 medium
  5. For the dressing:
  6. extra virgin olive oil 4 tablespoons
  7. lime juice 3 tablespoons
  8. cane sugar 1 tablespoon
  9. sea salt 1/2 teaspoon
  10. freshly ground black pepper 1/4 teaspoon
  11. garlic (finely minced) 1 clove

    Get ready for all the veggies!

    In a large bowl, whisk in all the dressing/garlic.

    Stir in all the veggies, toss well.

    Refrigerate at least 1/2 hour to allow flavors to blend.

コツ・ポイント

Refrigerate the coleslaw in an airtight container for it to last for 3-5 days.
